Passive Safety:
Launchers
E-Launchers are used to perform a variety of tests to ensure the safety of vehicles and their occupants. Some applications of these systems consist of propel pedestrian dummies towards vehicles in order to test the vehicles, pedestrian protection systems, or to throw components towards vehicles to test the vehicles' structural integrity. E-Launchers can also be used to simulate the misuse of vehicle components, such as a child seat or seat belt, to test the vehicle's safety systems.
The ADDITIUM Multi E-Launcher has been designed to easily interchange several modules and perform different tests such as:
– Free Motion Headform
– Pedestrian Legform: EEVC, FLEX-PLI, aPLI
– Upper Legform
– Guided Headform
– Bodybloc
– Headform Pendulum
– Ejection Mitigatio
