Passive Safety:
Seatbelt
Seat Belt Testing. As with any vehicle or component, seat belts are tested to ensure they perform at the optimal level. Crash tests are only one part of seat belt testing, and there’s more to it than just making sure the crash dummy stays in place. Seat belts are tested in various ways, and EuroAmerica offers a range of test stands and cameras to ensure that the seat belts function correctly and keep passengers safe.
MINISLED /G-LOCK /LOCK UP
The G-sled accelerates a retractor or its webbing to determine the lock distance for programmed accelerations.
The Minisled features Pass/fail indicators, Closed-loop linear motor for car and web sense acceleration, Tower with stable 24 pos. rotation plate. The system provides graphical representatioon of measurments, and results are saved in a database providing flexible reporting with custom test reports, along with multiple formats for test results.

Suitable for the following tests:

-
Incremental acceleration test
-
Incremental position test
-
Load cell lock detection
-
Skiplock detection
-
Software filtering on each channel
-
Acceleration corridor
-
Optional doorslam test
AUTOMATIC MOTORIZED RETRACTOR TESTER
The motorized retractor testers achieve the calibration and programming of the motorized retractor using an physical or emulated spring. The tester offers CAN/LIN communication with ECU, Programming, reading and verification of ECU data

RETRACTOR CYCLER
The retractor cycler performs durability and functionality testing on seat belt retractors.
The more advanced motorized retractor cycler performs durability and functionality testing on CAN/LIN controlled motorized seat belt retractors in both room temperature and climate chamber conditions. These test can performed with linear and non-linear spring emulation.
STEERING WHEEL CONTACT CYCLER
The steering wheel contact cycler performs durability and functionality testing on steering wheel contacts.

Test benches include, 6 independent stations, with 2 test point positions per station. Manual test point positioning with position feedback and Servo motor driven pushers. Different pusher tip attachments possible-

-
Measurement of the voltage drop over the switch
-
Measurement of the current through the switch
-
Calculation of resistance of the switch
-
Graphical representation of measurement

ABRASION CYCLER
The abrasion cycler repeatedly subjects seat belt webbing to various abrasive tests like hex bar, round bar, microslip and more.

-
Multiple abrasion set-ups to be considered:
-
hex bar
-
round bar
-
on tongue
-
on pillar loop
